The RAM 43 portable vacuum blaster is the quick way to remove paint and clean surfaces without dust or cleanup. The lightweight RAM 43 combines the dust-free benefits of a large vacuum return plastic and starch media blasting system with the convenience and efficiency of portable equipment.

Blasting with plastic or starch media allows RAM 43 operators to quickly remove coating down to the bare surface by means of blasting with particles that are harder than the coating but softer than the surface material. Abrasive is efficiently reclaimed for reuse, saving substantial time and media costs plus eliminating the hazards associated with chemical stripping.

Small size handy for unlimited applications

The RAM 43 is a small and compact unit with the same built-in advanced engineering found in high powered RAM equipment. It's ideally suited for tight spot blasting where a full size blast system would be excessive. And it's handy for touch-up cleaning anywhere you don't want dust problems.

Dust-free operation

When using the RAM 43, dry stripping operations will not interfere with other work or personnel. Dust, debris and media are retained in the blast gun body and are continuously returned by vacuum to the reclaiming unit.

Choose from all air or air and electric models

Depending on your requirements and the available compressed air supply in your shop, the RAM 43 is available in two models. The all air powered unit consumes 81 -109 CEM @ 100 psi (2.3-3.1 CMM) for blast nozzle and recovery/reclaim. The combination air/electric unit consumes 30-50 CFM @ 100 psi (9-1 .4 CMM) for blast nozzle only.

Save by recycling media

Spent media is continuously conveyed from the blast gun body to the reclaimer section. In this section, a cyclone centrifuge, vibrating screen and magnetic separator rapidly separate reusable abrasive from dust and other fines which are pulled from the center of the cyclone and pneumatically conveyed to a high efficiency dust collector from which cleaned air is exhausted.

Comprehensive package

The RAM 43 package includes a one cubic foot ASME coded pressure vessel with a smooth-flow 60 degree conical bottom and fluidizing media metering section. Also included is an external gun with tungsten carbide nozzle, 20 feet of hose plus the primary and secondary cyclone reclaimer with vibrating screen. The unit is mounted on a rugged steel chassis with heavy duty wheels.
