Without automatic media recovery, blast operators must stop their work to pick up, pack and reclaim spent media laying on the floor. These interruptions are labor intensive and time consuming.

Our recovery system captures spent media, moves it to a reclaimer and returns it to the blast generator for reuse. And you can set up a recovery floor to meet almost any budget and production requirement.

What’s more, systems can be pneumatically or mechanically powered. And that means you can set up for light media such as plastic, starch and glass bead or heavy abrasives like steel grit and shot. Floor Installation Configurations
Blast Rooms media recovery floors can be set directly onto your concrete floor or in trenches for installation. We provide installation service or our engineers can provide drawings for your contractor. In raised floor applications, a steel ramp provides easy access into and out of the room. Where excavation is possible a standard recessed floor permits the blast room to be set at floor level and steel tracks or rails can be installed.

Standard Raised Floor
Standard Raised Floor Blast Room recovery floors are erected directly onto your concrete floor. Such an installation allows you to easily dismantle, move and reinstall in a new location. The recovery floor is raised above the grade to provide subfloor recovery system clearance. To easily move workpieces in and out of the room a steel ramp is supplied.

Standard Recessed Floor
Where excavation is desired, trenches provide clearance for the subfloor recovery system and allow the enclosure to sit at floor level. In this case floor grating is at floor level and enables workpieces to enter and exit. In addition, rails can be installed for work cars to enter/exit or pass through.

Non-Standard Recessed Floor
